Let's talk a little ... :)
this page was created as information center for users of LocA. I will be very glad if someone use this program for geocaching or other activities. And even more happy, if you write me your opinion, critical - I hope. This can really help to improve this piece of ... :)and what is this software about? I started to work on Android after year of work on project Locify. My programming skill aren't big, but whole year of work with Java Micro Edition (J2ME), give me really big experience and also destroyed big part of my brain due to terrible support for developers. Finally I founded that every mobile phone has it's original implementation of J2ME and that's really not for me, even if I'm flegmatic person.
So I decided to start work on other platform. Java (Android) or C (Symbian, Windows Mobile)? Really easy question for lover of Java (really not J2ME). So in the end of June, I started to learn work with Android SDK.
And now finally - what is LocA creted for? Mainly is basic for my school project. Which? Still don't know, but hope it will be something with mobile phone, GPS and geodesy. Second purpose is, I like geocaching, maps, programming ... and this is combination. What I want to say is that LocA will not be mainly created for geocaching, it's only something like bonus. I want to LocA be as multifunction as it can be. Of course, still remain transparent and easy to use.
And what I need from you? Just some feedback, positive and better negative reactions are welcome.
